Diana Shipping Announces Delivery of the MV Dsi Phoenix, an Ultramax Dry Bulk Vessel

Through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, Diana Shipping Inc. (NYSE: DSX) has taken delivery of the m/v DSI Phoenix, a 60,456 dwt Ultramax dry bulk vessel built in 2017. One of the nine Ultramax dry bulk vessels the company has available soon is a ship called the vessel. It’s modern and highly-efficient.

As of November 1, 2018, Diana Shipping Inc. has 37 dry bulk vessels. Nineteen are Newcastlemax, 3 of which were delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2018; 11 are Capesize; 5 are Post-Panamax; 6 are Kamsarmax, with 4 having been delivered as of September 30th; 8 are Panamax and 3 Ultramax. The Company also expects to take delivery of 6 more Ultramax dry bulk vessels in the second quarter of 2019.

As of today, we have a combined carrying capacity of 4.6 million dry weight tonnage with a weighted average age of 10.29 years.
